About Me
Wooyeon Jo is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the SAFE Lab of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Prior to his position at VCU, he earned his Ph.D. from Ajou University. Wooyeon's research interests broadly span the realm of cybersecurity, with specific focuses on digital forensics and network security. He boasts experience with various file systems including Ext4, as well as mobile forensics and file restoration. Additionally, Wooyeon has applied security measures to diverse networks such as ICS, IoT, mobile, and IVN. He is currently concentrating on digital forensics research that amalgamates PLC memory regions with networks.

- Machine learning for ICS anomaly detection
- LLM-based analysis of unknown PLC firmware
